I'm a competitive bodybuilder that is planning to do a powerlifting event in 2013. My routine is centered around powerlifting movements, so I put together a homemade glute-ham raise that I'm quite proud of! I'm not saying it's every bit as good as, say, a GHR from EliteFTS, or anything, but it absolutely torches my hams, butt, low back, and calves, and my strength on it is increasing quickly. Check out the video below (my apologies; I don't know how to embed a video into this comment):

Thanks for the edit!
cool homemade gear... i am always inspired by this stuff; wish i were more capable with tools and wood and such....
Wonderful job, Ken!
Looks like that set up would be good for those who need a self spot. Well done.
Whoever said "Good things come to those who wait" couldn't have amounted to much. If you want it get off your lazy ass and get it!!

Thanks, guys! I really appreciate that. I've progressed from 2 reps to 7.![]()
I posted video of a homemade GHR I had created in this forum awhile ago. If no one minds, I'd like to post the link to the greatly updated/improved version of it I came up with this weekend. I used it in my workout for the first time yesterday, and the difference is night and day. I'm finally up to 10 reps, too!
