    Good luck to Matt Rhodes

Matt will be competing raw at the Europa this weekend. It's his swan song here in CT. He's moving the very next day. We have Josh and Karsten competing also. Good luck boys!

    Thanks a lot fellas.

Murderous one, I'm a man, so I'll compete in the Open Division (the only one that really matters) and I'll know on Saturday morning if I'm a 308 or a SHW. I won't step on a scale until weigh-ins because I just don't care how much I weigh. Strong is strong.

Damn, I'm cranky, though! Obama-care didn't help matters.

    Matt,

If your squat and pull go well, which judging by your log they will, then just aim for a total PR on your second pull. Then walk away for the next one.

Well, if things go as planned, my opener will give me a total PR. #2 might get me a huge PR! We'll see.

Thanks guys. i appreciate the support. I had a decent day considering a bit of an injury.

I hit a 650 squat with ease, which was a 50lb PR, and went on to 700. My body wasn't having it. In the hole I pushed and felt 3 pops in my hip flexor. No tear!

I benched 485 for a 10lb PR on my second. 500 was not going to fall on this day. Vincent said i dropped my hips a bit, which explains why it felt so heavy at the bottom. i gave it a push, but it only made it halfway up and just stopped.

The leg was killing me so I smashed a 145 pull to solidify my squat and bench PR's. On to Albany and some healing. Hopefully, I can get health yand compete again in 6 months or so. We'll see hwo my schedule works.

Awesome job Rhodes, vid of that 145 pull! Did the bar keep flying up and smash into the roof?

Well done with the 2 PR´s.
Did you pay a visit to a doctor?

    Good luck with the injury.
