    Anxiety-please help

I've had real bad anxiety for the last 2 weeks.
I woke up last night and my heart was thumping.
My appetite is lessening and my mood continually
goes up and down throughout the day.
I haven't been to gym in 4 weeks.
I'm finding it really difficult to function.
Its rooted in some sort of social anxiety that I've probably had for 15 years.
I did take SSRI's over ten years ago and wish
that I didn't have to go down this route again.
I'm going mountain biking in 2 weeks time
and I really don't want this to spoil it.
Is there any natural remedies for quick relief?
What should I do? I'm getting worried.

Well, you say it's been happening for about 2 weeks. Was it under control before this? If so, for how long, and what did you do to keep it under control? What changed in your routine/diet/life in the past 2 weeks that might have caused this?

go to the gym and go mountain biking. No need to feel worried nothing bad will happen and Ive found exercise is the best cure for my anxiety. I know at times anxiety can make it really difficult to go out and do these things but avoiding them wont help, no matter how anxious you feel go even if you just do a little at the gym or mountain biking, you'll feel better for it.

First off get any appropriate help you might need.

Anxiety sucks. Im sure everyone can agree they've dealt with it at one point. Myself included. Although it's hard, I try to do things that I don't want to do because isolation can be a big channel for anxiety and getting out is better than just sitting around thinking.
