I've been lifting for a few years but I feel like I jumped into an intermediate program too early and never realized my true potential on a linear progression program. Alot of the beginner programs like SS seem to be geared toward powerlifting. Of the beginner programs out there which do you think has the most bodybuilding?
Im 6' 1" about 180 lbs
Ive been cutting so my strength has dropped but my highest was probably
bench 225x5
squat 235x5
dead 235x5
It aint the program, it's the effort you put into it. As long as you choose a program that you can be progressive with and recover from, you should do just fine. You see some guys doing well and other guys doing poorly on the same program, it's because of effort or the program is just all wrong for them personally. Just keep it basic and keep progressing.

I switched to Baby Got Back (Marianne Anderson) a week or so ago. It certainly has the hypertrophy thing going for it.... ~~ A bit more than SS, but not so complex that it overwhelms.....

Have you considered it?
Does this pose make my camera look big?
