I was also pretty disappointed in Hardy's bulk/physique for this movie.. especially considering what hyped me up for TDKR was seeing him in Warrior. Most of those fight scenes in Warrior, I was just watching thinking to myself, 'Damn, Hardy is going to make for an awesome Bane'.
I wonder if his poor bulk influenced the costume design at all. I was sitting watching TDKR and found it odd that considering Bane's claim to fame is his huge, muscled physique, why would they have it all hidden by that huge coat for 85% of the movie!?
Overall, disappointed in Rises. Plot was all wrong for me. Well, the story was ok, it was really just the order of events I had some issues with.23 y/o, 170 lbs

I actually like it a lot. Very different from the previous one..but i enjoyed it that way. Bane has got some traps, however.

1. This was to long just like TDK. Why would they give two face like 30 minutes of a movie thats pointless. The best ending would have been to leave two face for next time allowing us to see his creation and then ending it.
2. This wasn't supposed to be about Robin he even said that. We got plenty of Robin in this movie he just didn't wear a costume.
3. I liked the twist in the movie kind of expected but still good.
4. Bane is famous for juicing/using chemicals for strength gain. They should have included that in some way they sort of removed the core thing about him. It's like introducing the character two face with a perfectly normal face.
Ok movie slightly disappointed.
On a side note has anyone seen the Taken 2 trailer? Looks pretty bad ass first one is still one of my favorite action movies.

I lovvvveddd Taken. Really straight forward story with Liam Neeson just kicking ass. Normally not my cup of tea, but Liam Neeson is the man in that movie.
Who are they gonna take now though? Lol.

Watched TDKR last night. It was... alright.
Stuck true to the comics in some ways, not in others.

I agree, the last Superman while not great was fine. It needed a different villian beyond Lex Luthor and the whole son angle was just dumb. It pains me to hear people wish for a "dark" Superman movie. Superman is not a "dark" character. He is a boy scout. They need to go beyond origin stories. Superman II was fantastic and this new movie will have General Zod as the main villian, so I have high hopes.

I liked it but it I did think it was a little slow at times. They pretty much nailed Bane head on though, his voice was supposed to sound the way it did, always calm and proper. I think his look and back story fit in well with Nolan's version of Batman. The juiced up super Bane would have seemed out of place.
