I know Eric doesn't post anywhere much anymore (except youtube), and it makes me a sad panda. But, I figured I would post this for everyone, in case folks aren't in the know. Eric is a beast and will be the all time raw 275 record holder.

Weakest person on the forum, and my bench is higher than my squat.
Some amazing lifts. Eric had a really good day.

Most competing would be happy with that as a multi ply total. Incredible!

It was an amazing job to be sure! I'm real happy for him.
Thanks guys i really appreciate it! I think i finally found what works the best for me. I always questioned it in the past, which was doing too long of training cycles. I used to do 10 week training cycles when i first started out and found that it was too much to do before a meet for me. I then started doing 8 week training cycles for the longest time, but then started to notice that my strength would always peak out between the 6th-7th week in. I then decided for this training cycle before this meet that i was going to try doing only a 6 week training cycle up to the meet to see if my strength would still peak out around the same time. And it looks like it really did again. I only did 6 weeks of training (3 heavy deadlifts, 3 heavy squats, 3 heavy benches) before this meet. My squats and deadlifts are alternated every other weekend so i only squat and deadlift twice a month. And benching i noticed what started working good for me was benching heavy with pauses every other week, and the week inbetween go lighter and do reps. All of my lifts on the day of the meet felt great, i knew as soon as i started warming up for squats that it was going to be a good meet. Taking 685 in the back room for a last warm up felt really light and easy, so my confidence coming into the squats was through the roof. Thank you guys for taking the time to watch my meet video and for the comments. I don't plan to compete in another full power meet until October/November so be on the look out for my next heavy training cycle coming up in mid September!
Beastly lifting.
Squat 2 times a month??? Interesting concept, it looks to be working pretty well for you...!
what do you do when your not training for a meet?
Holy shit...you can bench more than I can deadlift.
