    Your opinion?

I know it's typically advised that someone should lean out before going on a bulk. Last year I bulked for about 4 months and gained quite a bit of weight. I'll admit that I overdid myself and gained close to 40 pounds in that 4 months. That bulk ended and from January this year till about June I dropped 27 pounds. Standing at about 6' 186 pounds I still have a little bit of a belly but have abs when flexed. My question is should I continue cutting or could I go back on a bulk? Would they're be any real problems in the long run? Reason being is if I start my bulk now I'd get a solid 6 months in before I could cut again. This time around tho I'd shoot for a pound/week (maybe less) instead of 2-3.

Depends on what you want. I would bulk if i were you though. I'm the same weight and cutting too. When i can see definition in my and abs i will start to slowly bulk. I'm a little shorter than you at 5 10 and am aiming for about 175.

you could do a really clean bulk aiming for .5- 1 lb per week and make as much of it muscle as possible. that way when you do cut you would have a lot less to lose.

Is your goal to build the largest amount of muscle? To be big/strong? To be lean? Or to have a good balance but not be outstanding in any area?

Once you establish your goals it should be relatively easy to figure out how you want to handle your diet.

Ultimately I'd like to be 210 pounds with 10% or less body fat. I'm not sure if I'd call that huge being 6' tall but thats decently bigger than most guys that I know.

Since that is roughly 25 lbs heavier than your current weight you should first weigh out which is more important to you - being at 10% body fat or being 210 lbs. If both are equally as important then the best thing to do would be to slowly gain your way up to that size so that your body composition does not decline but also keep the scale moving in the right direction.

If you would rather be at a certain body composition first then I would work toward that goal while trying to maintain body weight, and if overall mass is the most important to you then I would gain the weight first before working on 're-comping'.
