Currently I've been cutting for about three months. I plan to start bulking in the next month or so and would like some input/criticism.
Current stats
chest 44, arms 15.5, waist 30, legs 24, calves 16.5, i'm 5'7 and weigh 165, bf 12%
my goal is to bulk from August to March. I figure if I can gain about .75lbs per week I could get close to 190 then cut down to about 175 give or take and be at around 9-10%bf. Currently I'm eating roughly 2000-2200 cals/day with a 40/40/20 (c/p/f) and plan to up it by 250 per week until I get to 3500 cals per day. Does this sound reasonable? Should I keep a 40/40/20 split?
If I've left anything our please let me know. Your input is appreciated.
Sounds like a reasonable plan to me.
Squats work better than supplements.
"You know, if I thought like that, I'd never put more than one plate on the bar for anything, I'd never use bands or chains, I'd never squat to parallel or below, and I'd never let out the slightest grunt when I lift. At some point in your lifting career (assuming you're planning on getting reasonably strong and big), you're going to have to accept that most people think you are some kind of freak." -Sensei
"You're wrong, and I have a completely irrelevant pubmed abstract that may or may not say so." - Belial
