Supertraining!!
Does anybody have a copy of this book? Has anybody read the entire thing, or a large sum of it? Did you learn a lot on new things? I've had a copy of this book for awhile, and I'm just about to begin to read it now.

I have it and have been reading it but am only around 200 pages in. Yes it has tons of good info, but it is honestly pretty hard to graps it all (since I have limited anatomy-physiology-physics etc. knowledge) so I am planning on reading it twice.

Well, ya, but I have a grade 12 bio, and I understand most of the stuff Supertraining talks about in regards to bio. As for physics, F=ma, is a concept that was taught in my class, along with other tid bits.

I can't even begin to explain the info within the book, it talks about everything in reagards to training. It talks about all the different types of strength, goes over the structure of a muscle plus about a million other things that have to do with training. It is difficult to understand, because the book only explains stuff through scientific means. If you have a strong physics backround, like a master's degree, then the material will actually make some sense.

I don't have much beyond high school level scientific background (well, excluding the stuff I picked up on my own) and its not extraordinarily difficult for me to grasp most of the stuff in it.

I never did end up ordering super training but I have a copy of Essentials of Strength Training and Conditioning, which is the NSCA Textbook. I would say these books are probably on par with each other. I was reading it as a straight read for a while then just started referencing it. It was quite technical but still readable. I was somewhat confused when reading about the Krebs cycle but only sorta skimmed it. Maybe I'll revisit that sometime soon.

I am thinking about ordering Keys Of Progress as well. I just placed my order for Supertraining. Hopefully that will be as good of a book as everyone makes it out to be.

I haven't heard of "Keys of Progress". But, I know Supertraining is a good book. Just don't get too frustrated when reading it, cause I know a lot of us have trouble understanding the book.
