Cardio while bulking, is there a point?

    Hey,
I am currently bulking, is there ANY point in doing cardio or is it just a detriment to my progress at the moment?

There have been countless threads on this topic. Do a search.
The simple answer is that doing cardio provides cardiovascular benefits, which is clearly a positive, especially if you are an athlete. If you take in enough calories to account for those lost while doing the cardio, then you should not have a problem with bulking.

agreed, you need to get your heartrate up and your blood pumping no matter what phase your going through in lifting.
Granted "cardio" is a broad term.
Some people consider running 8 miles 5 days a week cardio, some consider walking one mile twice a week cardio.

If your bulking I wouldn't go for more than an hour and a half a week (total cardio)
