Always doing awesome things man.
I have a question. How come you set the bar so low? I thought rack pull were really to train lockout and you should set them at or just below knee level. I want to use them when I get back into lifting after a surgery.

nice sir!
Thanks, Scott! Good luck at your meet!
Thank you sir!
Thanks! I've never really had much luck pulling from a high pin other than a couple of popped ribs. I usually pull from a low pin (roughly 2-4 inches off ground) and either use straight weight or bands. If I'm focusing on lockout I will use bands. I prefer band tension because I can perform the lift in a greater range of motion and take some of the stress of my lower back (from pulling heavy weights off the floor). I usually have good speed off the floor and lose weight at or just below the knee, so this pin is below the sticking point. Also, most gyms have crap racks where the lowest pin is usually at knee height so maybe that is part of it. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Also, good luck with your surgery!
That all makes a lot of sense. And I couldn't find a comfortable spot in the gym rack either, so I like this idea. Thanks!
