    Cardio twice a day while bulking?

    I was told that as long as your protein intake is high, you can get away with doing cardio twice (morning, late afternoon) a day at about 30 minutes in duration. Is this true?

    The reason I ask is simply because I want to build the muscle, but I refuse to develop the gut again that normally comes with bulking. Unlike most folks, I believe it's possible to build muscle and burn fat at the same time even though if you're focusing on them both, your progress will be a little slower at both than if you were focusing on just one. But it's been working for me.

    That's pretty tough.
    If you're bulking I assume that you are lifting heavy. By doing cardio twice a day you're putting your heart in the target heart rate for 30 mins. at a time. Lifting heavy puts a strain on your heart also. I think you would probably get a higher resting heart rate, resulting in overtraining.
    Just my opinion.
    If it works for you than stick to it.
