Hello, long time since my last posting. I need some help with some different ideas to get a decently healthy 1200 calorie breakfast.
I just threw this together really quick for tomorrow morning. Never made a shake like this before but it does sound tasty. Depending on consistency I might add some ice cubes in it.
Cal Fat Carb Pro
Banana*2 210 0 54 2
Nitrean*2 220 2 6 46
Oats*2 300 5 54 10
Natural PB*2 380 32 16 14
Skim 110 2.5 13 8
Total 1220 41.5 143 80
Seems like too many calories to me.
I don't think "too many calories" is a term used on this site. Haha
Shake is probably the easiest way to go. Adding some olive oil or coconut oil is an easy way to get some extra calories as well. Depends on how much you are trying to bulk up.

Looks good to me.
Very curios as to what the rest of your diet looks like.

Why so many calories needed at breakfast?

It's actually At Large's fat loss program. Not sure if it's still on their site? Basically broken up into 4 meals, with most coming from breakfast. My total calorie intake is around 2900. In the program there is also a workout routine to follow. Reason I'm doing this is because I haven't lifted in forever because I got hurt and kinda chubbed up, lol. This should help me lose some weight while building a good foundation then I'm going to move to West Side and a new diet.
Shake is fine.
My advice would be to learn how to eat smart in order to lose weight. If you're always following a diet it gets very old very fast.
My best results have come from using the basic ideas of Dave Tate's article "Meal Prep for meatheads." Easiest and best plan I've followed. I just made it work for me using the basic ideas.
It is very rich breakfast of 1200 cals. It is necessary for having healthy muscles, hard work outs and strenuous exercises including weight lifting etc i think...
6 eggs fried in coconut oil will give you about 600 calories right there. Throw in a bowl of oatmeal and your pretty much there.
2000 or bust
Thanks for the other ideas everyone. This shake is great though, I added about 10 ice cubes so it's not so thick but it tastes fantastic and I'm not bored or tired of it yet.
