Did anybody see the movie? I saw it the other day and was amazed by the irony. John Q's kid was an aspiring body builder and his personal hero was Ronnie Coleman. The child was dying because his heart was 3 times the normal size and he needed a heart transplant. I thought it was ironic.
thanks for ruining the movie i was gonna rent it today
somewhat what I eat...

he hasn't reined the movie, that's the plot, it's what denzel goes through to try and get a heart transplant that is the main thing, i will let you watch the movie rather than tell you, i really enjoyed john q - denzel is one of my favourite actors and eddie griffin is cool
and i thought the irony was that the kids idol was ronnie coleman but looks just like gary coleman, script writter having a joke at the kids expense?
He's a little kid, so of course he doesn't look like Ronnie Coleman.

I just thought it was an awesome movie because that father would do that. And when you think of it i probebly would do the same thing for my son/daughter.

Well my friends think I'm ugly
I got a masculine face - Tom Waits.
Great film.
wasn't it based on a true story?
"Geordie/'d3c:di/n. & adj. Brit colloq. n. 1 a native of Tyneside. 2 the dialect spoken on Tyneside. adj. of or relating to Tyneside, its people, or its dialect. [the name George + -IE]
No but the directers daughter had a similar problem, obviously he could afford his bill , but the script hit home with him so he decided to do the movie.Originally posted by The_Chicken_Daddy
