"Whoa Nellie" is a longtime expression Keith Jackson used when he did College Football games. Keith has now retired (he does a big game every now and then), but was the best in business IMO.......he did alot of SEC football games and he rocked!

Yeah, the Sooners may be the team to beat this year. They should be loaded. And watch Texas. Only problem with Texas is Mack Brown always chokes when it comes time for the big games LOL! He had the same problem at UNC.

I was ecstatic on Monday when I could turn on MNF again....sans Dennis Miller! Whoo hoo!

I could give all to Time except - except
What I myself have held. But why declare
The things forbidden that while the Customs slept
I have crossed to Safety with? For I am There,
And what I would not part with I have kept.

Dennis Miller was worth it just to see the puzzled looks on Al's and the others' faces as they tried to figure out what he was saying.

Personally, I thought he was great but then again I am exactly in his target demographic. The real crime was that he rarely got any support from Michaels or the others for his efforts. Personally, I think that Al Michaels resented sharing the spotlight.

I'm bummed that they dropped Eric Dickerson, too . . . he gave a real credibility to player interviews.

I'd like to see texas win...but i'm afraid the choke-artist chris sims will screw it up for them...and if nebraska gets another national title game with a sub-par team like they did last year...i'm dropping a bomb on the state.
