I was wondering for my last meal at 8pm would it be beneficial to eat vector cereal with skim milk + whey protein shake which is all within my calorie range. The protein in the cereal is soy which has a bad rep. In general what do you guys and gals think of eating healthy cereal with a protein shake?

Read the ingredients on the box ... if there are more than 3, or you can pronounce some of them (or explain what they are), then I would avoid.

What I mean is healthy cereals like all bran sufficient and good quality carbs. If you have cereal and a protein shake it might make up a fast and good meal. What do you guys think?

Sounds good to me. Carbs and protein. That's exactly my last meal.

Vector in my books is a godsend.. hehe, it's a great night snack or anytime throughout the day actually... It's has a good carb/protien/fat ratio and is a source of like 14 different essential vitamins/minerals/etc.. I'd go for it.

Soy doesn't/shouldn't have a bad rep... it's not as complete as whey but it's still a good source of protein.
