Question for computery literatey peopley

If I'm doing a mail merge to e-mail from a works database, is there anyway I can input a merge field into the subject line - cos as far as I can tell it has to be the same for each mail. If you try anyway you just get <<field1>> in the subject line.

mmmm......i don't think so. i'll have to go to work and fiddle with outlook to see. can you not just make the title generic?

lol no, I sell on ebay and have managed to get the system down so it automatically emails and adds all data like item# etc, but it gets confusing when all the replies contain the same subject line.
