    I think he means protien shakes =) Hehe it would be nuts not to eat protien on off days

    doesn't matter HOW you get your protein.

    In a shake,
    or in a steak,
    in some MET-RX bars
    or eating chicken in your car
    you must eat your protein
    every day
    you must eat your protein
    or so I say
    If you do not eat your protein
    Moats, my man
    Your gains will suffer
    Your progress goes in the can
    So eat it, eat it, eat it do
    Eat your protein it's good for you

    What about 2 days off? Or 3? Or a week? I was wondering this myself. At what point does your body stop utilizing that protien to grow?Or does it?

    I wondering that too. I usualoly lift m-w-f. This week m-w-r. Off rest of week. Should I be eating big on sunday?

    you gotta eat protein plus plenty cals consistantly, training days wont cut it, because the muscle need constant fuel to supply repair and prepare for the next-workout, if you dont then you will erradicate the benefit of the workouts especially if your looking for size.
    The only limits are the one's you place on yourself...

    So then on a week off you would eat the same way you on wo week? I understand maintaing the muscles, but I there has to be a point when your not active for so long and don't need that much food.

    You should eat the same amount of protein on your days off as the days you train. But you should get your protein from different sources. Whey protein is not optimal for the days you have not trained. Because it takes less than three hours to leave the stomach, much of the aminos from whey are used for energy rather than protein synthesis.

    What I meant is at what point in time. When you don't train for x amount of days when should you switch to maintance levels of food consumption. I have a good idea what those levels are from my own experience.

    What I meant is when do you go to maintance level of food intake when not training, 3, 4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14 days? Can't write it any simplier. My guess is this a question that isn't going to be answered.
