Does anybody do cardio while bulking and if so how much are you doing? I might start doing cardio 3 mornings a week or so to curb fatgain a bit but I dont want to lose muscle gain!
even on a heavy bulking routine i do 20 - 30 min of light cardio after workouts. I feel it helps keep my bf down. Make sure you still up your calories, you need them to grow.

i personaly dont think its optimal to do cardio whilst bulking. You cant realy keep your fat down becasue you need to eat more calories to stay over maintenance anyway. Save it for the cutting cycle.
I would say definitly do the cardio. It helps with muscle gain and keeps bf down. It does cause a calorie deficit though. While bulking I would do it on days when you don't lift. Expirement with it.Originally posted by Bryan

I'm certainly no fan of cardio...I would say leave it out.

No cardio while bulking here. I'd leave it out, bulk up then worry.
or
Do it, experiment with doing cardio one bulking phase and not the next, see what works for you that way.
I say do the cardio. Cardiovascular exercise has benefits beyond fat loss. It helps you in numerous ways. Just keep in mind that you want to be eating at least as many calories as you burn when bulking and cardio work burns calories so you'll need to eat more.
You'll find that a lot of the people here will say that you shouldn't do cardio even when cutting.
Now in pain, only working out the walking sticks.
I might start adding in a bit of cardio for fitness, only for rugby mind, but it still needs better overall fitness than I have now. So funny though because im so unfit now compared to before I started training properly for size, but people still think i've got a high level of fitness because I go to the gym more than most people. Cardio is a must IMO to at least keep the heart healthy. It doesn't have to be much, but also a greater fitness level will help you train harder.
I totally agree with Tiare regarding the benefits of doing cardio, even while in bulking phases. And it keeps you from being overwhelmed with cardio training near contest time or when cutting up.
figuring u can only burn so many calories running... as long as you dont run a marathon you should be fine :P
somewhat what I eat...
