I workout 3 times a week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I do biceps all those days.
-Preacher Curls 3x8
-Hammer Curls 2x10
Because from what I've read, I heard biceps only need 48 hours rest. It's just that if I don't work on my biceps it feels like they are gettin smaller because they are lacking the most compared to everything else. That's why I work them out more. I'm not sure if I should do more or less.![]()

So your progressing doing them 3 times a week? They're getting bigger and stronger?
I'm guessing unless you just started lifting or your on gear that the answer is probably no. or not very well.
More isn't better in this sport, Tri's make up 2/3 of your upper arm so don't be a curl jockey.
biceps arent special, they are just muscles, like everything else. Unless your on some sort of progressive overload routiene, then I'd say your definately overtraining them.
Personally I train them one day a week directly, then one day indirectly. I'm actually considering cutting my direct lifting by one set cause the indirect workout is so taxing on my bi's.
From my limited knowledge, yeah certian muscles can recover faster than others, but 48 hrs rest if your going to complete failure is not long enough. your not leaving anytime to grow, let alone much time to repair from the damage you've done during the workout.
Dude as i stated above. They are lacking the most. Meaning my triceps are way bigger than my biceps and my arm looks screwed up. I barely even have a bicep cause I don't think it fully developed or something. It's hard to explain but my bicep is screwed up.Tri's make up 2/3 of your upper arm so don't be a curl jockey.
I tried looking through pictures to see if anyone has a bicep like mine, but nobody does. So I can say that my bicep genetics lick balls.

If they are underdeveloped, you may be training them TOO frequently...

Aight. What I think I might do is train my biceps once a week.
-Hammer Curls 2x10
-Preacher Curls 3x8
-Barbel Curls 2x6
Is that good for once a week training for biceps?
"I'm a beast..."
It's better, certainly.
If you are training back as well, I'd simply do: 2 X 4-6 Barbell Curl; 2 X 4-6 Hammer Curl.
I perform the aforementioned workout once per week following my back workout. It's worked quite well so far...

Do you train your tris as much as your bis. It sound like no. Maybe that is why there bigger. You say your making progress training bis 3 days a week, but they are to smaller. So you just started this routine? How long? Are you doing any rowing n the odd days that might effect recovery? I too have heard bis recover fast, don't know if this is from natural user or not. For years people trained 3 days a week, now its not productive. I don't have monster arms so I don't want to give advice. But if this new program three days a week is working. Your progressing in weight or reps, try it. Twice a week might be better though. Try 3 days when you start to slow down in progress cut back to 2. then cut back to 1. That is just my bowels speaking though. Though if I really wanted to trian bis I would do them first in my wo, when I am strongest.

I'd probably limit it to like 4-5 sets once per week, especially if you're training to failure. 3 times a week to failure each day, along with compound exercises for upper body would probably result in some heavy overtraining.
