Any suggestions on how I can beat the hell out of this cold pdq??? I am loading up on C, any other suggestions???? I do not smoke, so that's not a factor. HELP ME PLEASE! I feel very bad when I miss training.
Sleep... and fluids. Get lots of those and you'll get better.

You've just got to let your immune system take care of it. Sure, you can take the fancy shmancy new antivirals out there, but it won't be much better. Just stick it out and rest up. Your body should take care of it within 5-7 days. Vitamin C's more of a prophylactic. Better before, than during. Still, it won't hurt things. Just drink up and rest up. And, yes, I'm assuming you've got the flu (viral). If you're couging up green stuff, then go see a doctor and get on some antibiotics because then it's probably bacterial.

vit C is the more the prevention of a cold not the cure
Take 2-3grams everyday from now on
Get vit E also, and Echnica
