I've been working out now for about 8 months, only really serious for the past month. I just started my new diet a week ago though. I'm hoping to gain about 25 pounds. Or at least thats my goal. I'm sure it will take awhile though. I lift usually three times a week. Monday tri's-chest

I'm kind of cut, not too strong yet, but I'm sure strength will increase as I gain more weight.
today was a leg day for me, I work out at my house, so I don't have too much equipment yet, but I just got a job so I'll soon have money for equipment, for now I have adjustable dbs, a small and very light barbell, bench, and like 92lbs in weights, which isn't enough, I need another hundred pounds or so. So I could be doing alot heavier on some lifts if I had more weights.
The last time I maxed out which was about a month or two ago my stats were:

My hams were really sore today after SLDL, first time I've done them in about 3 weeks. it was painful to walk up the stairs right after to go to the bathroom, I almost fell down the stairs, lol.
Do you realize you can max deadlift 3 times your bodyweight.You should try competitive powerlifting....um ok.![]()
Are you sure you can deadlift and squat that much? hehe....You could do real well in powerlifting, except for that bench. I knew a guy who weighed 110 and benched 215 in powerlifting..not too shabbyKeep up the good work Ironman.
thanks for the comments, yea I have really strong legs for my size, but my upper body is lacking in strength. but I figure if I just start eating more and gaining some weight my upper body will catch up with my lower.
I'm pushing my back and bicep lifts to tomorrow, for some reason my upper back has been sore since my leg-ab day. I'm not sure why, I did deadlifts which should make my lower back sore, but my traps and the middle of my back is sore. My hamstrings are still a little sore too.
Did bi's and back today. However my back was still sore so I dropped off bent over rows, and one arm rows for today.

Yea my legs are strong like I said and my upperbody is weak but I'm working on that. But I could have done more than 4 pullups with that 10 extra pounds if I hadn't done them last while my body was extremely sore. Maybe only like two or three more though. I made huge progess back in december through april on my legs. I only worked them once a week, and I did deadlifts and squats on alternating weeks. My deadlift went up from 180 to 345, and squat from 155 to 295. However in that time my bench only went from 95 to 125. I think I was overtraining my upperbody in that time period though.
I've decided now instead of having set days for lifting days, I'm just going to rest two days after every workout, I don't like lifting when i'm sore, it just doesn't feel good. So that means wednesday is my chest-tri day. I'd have to say its probably my favorite workout. Legs use to be my fav but since I started working out at home and my equipment sucks, because I need a new barbell and like 150 more pounds in plates my legs just aren't gettin the workout they deserve.![]()
Body is still some what sore from yesterdays workout, I might end up doing chest and tris tomorrow though. My lats are the sorest part, my bi's are a little sore. It just depends how I feel tomorrow I guess. Diet is going good so far. I've already drank like a half a gallon of milk today. I think I drank over a gallon yesterday.![]()
After swimming for about 2 hours today, and swimming some laps I decided to just leave my chest-tri workout for tomorrow. I just hope my new sunburn doesn't effect how I lift.
Sleep has been good, getting about 10 hours in every night.
Diet is also good. Ate about 2800 calories today, good for me. I usually stick around 2200.
Can't wait to workout tomorrow, my lats are still a little sore from chinups though, I use to have big lats until I stopped working out at my high school, Then I stopped working my lats for awhile and now it looks like I don't have any, but I'll fix that problem.

Had cross country practice again today, ran about 4 miles. The only problem is that I have legs and abs tomorrow and my legs are killing my from running so I might have to make tomorrow bicep and back day, and push my leg workout back until my body gets use to running again. I hate not being able to work my legs though.![]()
I'm still sore in my tri's, shoulders, and chest which is good.
Weight gaining process is doing ok. Started out about 12 days ago at 14.5, now up to 117.5. I'm ****ed though we're out of tuna. But I had alot of chicken yesterday, much better tasting then tuna.
Sleep hasn't been good past two days. Having to get up at 7:30 is no fun. Especially when I can't fall asleep until 3. I did manage to get about a 2 hour nap in yesterday.

Legs today, all I have to say is I need some new equipment, I'm never trying to squat without a rack. Plus its almost pointless squatting with 100 pounds. I need a couple hundred more pounds of weights and a power rack before I can do anything with my legs really like squatting and deadlifting.

I was just thinking about what I want to accomplish in bodybuilding and why I'm doing this, and I remember the first time I felt like a scrawny pussy and needed to workout, and I thought it would keep me motivated. I was at a track meet, and this really hot girl I'm talking to says to me, wow, you would have really nice legs if you were a girl. Ever since then, I've wanted to get rid of my chicken legs.

I can do sldl with more weight in each hand than you do total, yet you have the same max dead as me. Hmmmm, lil strange.

Latman if you read any of the other stuff above, you would know I only have 90 lbs in plates, so I can't exactly go to my potential, and like I said when I maxed out was like 2 months ago, after that I had taken awhile off, like 3 weeks because of baseball, right now I would say I could only deadlift 300. And I would squat because I love to, but I just don't have the right equipment yet.

It says you squatted 100x12. If you had 100lbs for squats, you had 100 for sldl, right? It just doesn't make sense. I cna do sldl with over 250 lbs and my max deadlift is the same as the one you posted.![]()
