I thought my arms were going to fall off

Me and a buddy were working arms not to long ago and decided to change it up a little and superset skullcrushers and curls. We started off putting a 25lber on each side of a cambered bar for a warmup. Then we put on another 25 on each side totaling 115. Then go to failure with skullcrushers, have spotter take off a 25 from each side. Go to failure again. Set it down and put the 2nd 25's back on and do curls to failure, strip off the 25's to make it 65 or so and finish up till think your arms are going to fall off.

Add or subtract weight for good measure

Added bonus: From skullcrushers go immediately into closegrip then continue

Somebody try this, what do you think, any comments???
but not without a spotter, all to failure

I used to do the same exact thing and even more hardcore variations.

Basically, I have much bigger arms now by doing one or two sets of low-rep curls.

I see guys who must curl 25 sets in a workout, and their arms never grow.

    How about this:

    4-6 rep barbell curl (115 4x)
    3-6 rep dumbell curl (50s 4x)

    ..done, it seems to work.
