What is love?

Ive been thinking a great deal about "love" lately.
And I have to admit that my conclusion is that love is an none exsisten term.

This is what I think Chrush and love is :

When a boy or girl sees an induvidual they "fall in love with" " prefeered to mate with", a chemical process starts in the body making them prepared for intercourse. This preparation feeling makes the boy or girl warm and happy, and to explain the feeling they are experiencing they call it love.

anybody agree that love is bullshait?

I always thought that I was in love with a girl if I didn't fall asleep right after sex, and actually looked at her, or talked to her.

Or it could be the chemical process whereby blood rushes into the genitalia.

After having my heart broken 7 YEARS AGO, I think I'm incapable of love now. The only thing that exists is my primitive desire for a sexual mate. It sucks, and makes for meaningless relationships and lonely holidays, but I have this subconscious protection mechanism thing that won't allow me to get too close to anyone. I dump girls for no good reason and I feel like a jerk about it after, but it happens every time. I don't know WTF love is, but I know that it can lead to happiness and deep emotional scars.

hmmm...gino..that gives me no hope whatsoever. I got mine broken a year ago, and my head is right about where yours is right now...including the dumping for no good reason stuff.....

f**k it....i still stand by, when the timing is right, the right person will show up. until then it's whatever.

I do.It's because of the other person's smell which is made by pheromones.They are produced when you sweat.That's why people fall in love more often in summer.And that's why you see people who you don't consider to be good-looking to have many gfs or bfs.They are naturally attractive

Not sniffin each other's butts though but it's scientific proved that these hormones attract the opposite sex.Thery're called androstenone,androstenol and androsterone.

No. I mean I've loved and lost enough times to know that nothing is as awful as dying the death that comes with knowing your heart's desire is not the one.

Another important fact is that when I was in love I was always feelin' sooo happy and calm.BUT,my best workouts were done when I was aggressive and nervous.

Tryska - sorry to hear that. Every one recovers from a broken heart differently. I withdrew from all intimate relationships for the first year. Then I gradually got back into dating. Years later, I'm still f'ed up. I see a hot girl and I'm not thinking to myself "I like her." What I'm really thinking is "I wonder if I can get her to like me." The sad part is that I know exactly what I do and why I do it. I just can't stop. Why do I approach relationships/females like that? Well, if I can get them to like me, but I don't have to worry about liking them, I can get all of the benefits of someone liking me without the risks that come with liking someone else. Predictably, it ends up being a one-sided relationship every time. The girl digs me, and I dump her because I'm not into her. It's almost like I have completed the challenge - I got her to like me, so I succeeded. End of challenge.

Wonder how long this is gonna last. I have to give in some day...

well playa....the boomerang will get you one day. i totally know what you mean though....although i think i'm still in the first year phase....I'm really not interested in getting involved with anyone..i feel like they take up too much of my precious time...so...i serially date....never get involved......and do it just so i don't become a total recluse....and don't make 2nd dates with these guys for the stupidest reasons...which i feel guilty about. but such is life. when i'm healed, i'll be healed.
