I'm a night working computer geek. Just finished college and was just barely able to find a job before most of the tech market here in Charlotte shut down.

I was a bagboy at the local Food Lion when I was a junior. Not a bad job. It got me some extra cash. I've also been a stocker in a pharmacy. Little bit better job but still not great.

I work for my grandad's business. He sells cars and tires in B'ham, as well as other auto services. So basically I play with cars all day, and change tires. I like it, and make good money.

Before that, I was a DJ at a Skating Rink here. It was really cool for a while, with a teen-club atmosphere with dancing, laser tag, skating, batting cages, go-karts, and an arcade. I met so many girls with that job! Then the place aims their promotions at kids, and we get flooded with children, and the dancing aspect was eliminated (as well as rap music), so the teens no longer showed up. Ah well, I got fired anyways.

It was, indeed. If there's any similar places like that near you, definatley check it out. I started there just learning how to do music with other DJ's, and commentating on skating and foot races. Then I learned it all, and was doing whole sessions, and private parties.

Haha, I had the exact same two jobs when I was in high school. It was great with a very favorable girl/guy ratio. (not to mention that 75% of the women were very attractive) They sure treat you a lot nicer when there aren't many other guys!

Aye, that they do! Quite interesting.

I got an intership during college too. I highly recommend to anybody in college to get an internship. With the job market the way it is, its very helpful to get you foot in the door. Of all my friends who had interships, they all have jobs. Of all my friends who didn't have interships, 99% of them still don't have jobs. Its a very worthy investment of your time to find one.

"It is often said, mainly by the "no-contests", that although there is no positive evidence for the existence of God, nor is there evidence against his existence. So it is best to keep an open mind and be agnostic. At first sight that seems an unassailable position, at least in the weak sense of Pascal's wager. But on second thought it seems a cop-out, because the same could be said of Father Christmas and tooth fairies. There may be fairies at the bottom of the garden. There is no evidence for it, but you can't prove that there aren't any, so shouldn't we be agnostic with respect to fairies?"

    Richard Dawkins

"Out of all of the sects in the world, we notice an uncanny coincidence: the overwhelming majority just happen to choose the one that their parents belong to. Not the sect that has the best evidence in its favour, the best miracles, the best moral code, the best cathedral, the best stained glass, the best music: when it comes to choosing from the smorgasbord of available religions, their potential virtues seem to count for nothing, compared to the matter of heredity. This is an unmistakable fact; nobody could seriously deny it. Yet people with full knowledge of the arbitrary nature of this heredity, somehow manage to go on believing in their religion, often with such fanaticism that they are prepared to murder people who follow a different one."

I work in subway . Don't laugh, it gets me a bit of cash
I don't know why i'm still working there though, its £4.20 p/h, which is ok I guess, and its stressful and boring because its usually only me working on night shifts... I have an offer to work as a lifeguard/swimming teacher at my local leisure centre, for £5.30 p/h............................................
The only reason I haven't left subway is because I don't want to leave them short-staffed because they are decent people.

I am a computer geek as well, I work as an NT administrator.

This is strange, cause most of people in IT that I work with don't even think about BB, yet we have quite a few here on the board.
