i will leave it up to you to decide on the rest of the title. imho, america is screwed up right now. first, the pc thing. it's crap and should be done away with. if someone is a retard then that is what they are, not mentally challenged. mentally challenges is someone with a learning disability. second, you can sue anyone for almost anything. if a guy breaks into your home and you shoot him and he gets away(i am a gun advocate all the way and hope the libs get their arses whipped everytime they try to take guns away) he can sue you for that. to avoid it you have to basically either kill him or drag him into your home. what is wrong with that picture. a crook can sue if he gets hurt trying to rob you. man this country is getting worse. yes i believe we are the greatest nation but we have too many issues. clinton sent this country to hell in a handbag and a note to satan:

i'm sure other counrties have their problems as well but this country is becoming a communist country. public schools having uniforms? that's not right. make everyone look the same to eliminate socio-economic competition and remove induviduality. christians are being targeted as well. we are the only religion to not be allowed schools as our beliefs may be offensive to muslims or any non-christian. but they can teach evolution and people can openly talk about any other religion but not christianity. there is not such thing as equal rights anymore. in divorve women most of the time get the house, car, bank account and kids. the guy has to take the crappy car go live in a motel until he can find an affordable place and still pay allamony, even while the woman works. i say how child support can be corrupted, my uncle went through so much with his ex. she used my cousin to get more and more money from him until the judge said she better have a job the next time she came to his courtroom.

as for homsexuality, it's your choice. i won't bash you but i don't think gay pride parades should be allowed. why? they are repulsive, i saw one once on a recording and let me tell you it was nasty. you have the right to be proud of what you are but if you want to parade it do it in a decent manner. racism in any form is stupid and wrong. we are all of the same race, the human race.

Well, a couple people I know went up and asked if they could pray for their religion (judaism). Guess what? They got their asses kicked out of the stadium. Real nice, huh? leading a nation and teaching/preaching the message from the bible are seperate things. personally, and i do not speak for all christians, but i don't belive in woman preachers, elders or what not as religious leaders, it is forbidden in the bible and that is my belief hands down. teaching to children and other women is fine, we need that. as for a woman president, if it happends then it happends. i won't vote for a woman president. i have said it for years that i won't vote for a woman president. i have'nt seen a woman politician worth being president yet, maybe one will come someday, who knows. if hillary clinton goes for it i will vote against her so quick.

to answer your question, i think i already did, the two concepts are seperate. i see i have touched a button here, religion seems to be a touchy subject on this board. if i offended anyone i do appologize, but remeber that can work both ways. i might get offended by something but others may not be as polite and appologize. anyway, my point was made.

I'm an athiest...i think the bible is great book to read but should be in the fiction section. I used to debate with a muslim friend of mine all the time, he as a very devout muslim, me as a very logical athiest, and there will never be an definitive answer of right or wrong but it's something i enjoy debating.

ice, i'm not ramming anything down anyone's throat not do i believe woman should be in the kitchen and blacks in the back of the bus. we are are created equal and God never meant for woman to be barefoot and naked, blacks to be in the back of the bus, hispanics in the fields, and white men ruling over everything. i'm against all of that. if a woman wants to be a stay home mom, that is her choice, but i think woman should follow whatever goals they want to no matter what anyone says. blacks are the same as whites, whether they are women or men, they have the same rights and priviledges as the rest of us. i'm not touching the gay issue as i have already voiced my opinion in another thread which is not in a bashing manner at all. going back to the woman pres thing, if i ever find a woman worth the title i might vote for her if we share common values and such, as for a black president yes i would vote for a black president. i wanted Colen Powell as president but he chose not to run.

if she wants to preach then fine, i wont attend a church with a woman preacher. i told you my beliefs and also i told people have right to choose. we have free will, God gave us free will to do as we choose. in the bible it says, here we go again, women are not to lead men(grown men) ion service. now, when i said a woman is free to go do what she wants and if that is preaching, then fine, but that is her choice to do what the bible says not to do, that is if she is chooses christianity. i don't know about muslim or buddhism, if those religions allow for woman preaching and that is what she wants great, go for it.

i know you are trying to pin me as a sexist and a bad christian, but i am neither. is it wrong for me to have my beliefs and hold to them. i think not but it seems that way with some people cause i don't go along with them. i am a black sheep and always will be. i am a black sheep in my church but that is because the elders have a set way of conduct, i think most of it is due to them being old and you know how older people are they don't like modernization. enough about that.

A common misconception of the left. That is not true. The US was founded on the principles of judeo-christian beliefs, and it was founded as a nation under a defined God. The separation of church and state only meant that there would not be a state religion, like there is in the UK. It did not mean that the 10 commandments would not be in schools.
