    Quick question about protein

    howa much protein should one intake, if he weighs about 170?

    I know im supposed to multiply my weight by a percentage, but i forgot what percentage it was

    that calculation was for total daily calories, not protein !!!

    a minimum is 1 gram of protein per lb of bw.
    i more favor the higher amounts myself: 1.5 -2 * bw
    but that is what i find I do better on.

    I also find better results with 1.5 times bodyweight for protein intake.

    2,900 grams of protein a day might give me a slight case of bowel discomfort not to mention the complete and utter failure of 2/3 of my internal organs.

    1gm/lb body weight is more than enough for muscle growth as long as you are consuming enough carbs & fat to provide energy.
    Now in pain, only working out the walking sticks.

    2900 grams of protein. I think I saw an ad. that muscletech makes a supplement with that much.
