What should I do?
I was already feeling bad cuz i was invited to 2 parties tomorrow night and had to choose and now my sister called if i could come over and spend some time the weekend since shes all alone now, and i havent seen her new place. Shes not feeling so well, and i dont see her enough and i like her town. I wanna go, but its hard, cuz the guy whose party i was going to is my good friend and workout partner ronald who was just telling me on the phone how he had made arrangements and bought stuff for the party.
I think the other party is some competition and hes already getting fewer guests than expected...
Im training with him this afternoon. Id feel sorry to tell him. I`m also not entirely sure what i want.Last edited by Reinier; 01-24-2003 at 06:45 AM.

if i was given the choice between ronald and your sister i think i would choose the latter.

although i cant really comment, my sister had moved out of home for five years (hour and a half away) and i visited her 3 times

I don't think I've ever been on a formal date, so I have no concept of those rules/stipulations...
But I think you should go see your sister, Reinier...there will be lots more parties to go to and your sister is family.

go to the one you think will be good, and if it's good, stay. If not, bail and go to the other party.

granted the last minute trip to vegas or something is always a fun idea, but for the most part, it has to make you wonder who else they ahd plans that fell through with before they decided to look you up.
typically for myself, i've got my weekend plans sorted out before the last weekend is over these days, so i wouldn't back out on prior engagements anyways.
i like whosever idea it was to invite your sister along, altho, from what i recall she has a bad attitude and might put a damper on the evening anyways.A little learning is a dangerous thing...

Who the hell cares when someone else makes plans? That is such a highschool thing. I can easily stay home all weekend and not do anything, but I don't give two sh!ts if someone thinks I think they have no life when I call them up. If I want to go out with someone I call them, who the hell cares when. Analysing that kinda crap is such a waste of effort, and it only makes the other person seem to be self inflating their importance and time.

By the way, I arrange my rendez-vous even 2 hours before goin' out.. I hate doing predictable things..
