I am in my little yearly cutting mode for summer and I wanted your thoughts of the best time to do cardio before or after weight training. I have always done cardio after lifting so I am not tired when trying to push weight.
But then other people do cardio before...
any thoughts?
keep it after the workout, use your energy to get that weight up first
**** cardio. Structure your workout appropriately to induce hypertrophy. This will increase your basal metabolism and allow you to lean out without having to get on cardio gear. What are you, some 30something lady with huge thighs or a man?![]()
Do it on your off days if possible.
If not, after is your best bet.

lift firsttttt should deplete your glycogen levels in your muscles enough.. then cardio and your body can't help but burn fat at this time

You can't babysit this.
After is what I figured, I will continue this. Oh I should have mentioned that I am guy who is 23 years old about 6'3" 250-252.
A stay relatively lean all year so I only am going to lose 10-15 pounds at the most. Which really isn't that difficult.
