I just started doing cardio along with a strict cutting diet, and was wondering if it might be a good idea to cut down a little on my lifting, doing fewer sets but still at high intensity.
I don't know cuz I really LOVE lifting but I don't wanna overload my body's recuperation ability.
What to do, what to do?
how many days a week do you lift? how many do you do cardio? how much are you doing (volume) during your lifts? How many times a week does each body part get trained?
I lift 4 days a week, each body part gets trained once a week. I was going to do cardio 3-4 times a week, on my off days and maybe one early am on a lifting day too. I usually lift 40-50 min. Should that be less? I go as heavy as I can (not much) for 6-10 reps. I don't know if that's what you meant by volume.
E'rybody wanna be a bodybuilder, but don't noboby wanna lift no heavya$$ weights. Ronnie Coleman, The Unbelievable

I would lift the same, keep cardio around 1.5 hours a week total and only on off days.....it may be good to have one day that you do nothing.....keep your diet in check and give it some time....
