Bite the bullet and spend the cash. Or, you could just spend the cash and forget about biting the bullet. Biting a bullet is not necessary in this case.
When exactly would biting a bullet be necessary?
Also, how often do you take flax? Would one serving a day, like on top of a salad, be good? I already get plenty of fats from my red meat and peanuts.

Depends what your diet is like latman.
You should consider it as part of your diet and not a supplement. (IMO)

Bullets have good amount of omega69 fatty acid though!!..... oh well.. alritey... i'm going to da HEALTH store to bite some bullets... i mean buy some flex...
1 tbsp per 100 lbs of body weight is a good amount. Flaxseed oil is not simply "fat," it is one of the highest concentrations of Omega 3 EFAs you can get. Red meats and nuts average about .1 to .5 grams of Omega 3 per serving as opposed to Flaxseed's 8 grams of Omega 3.
One occasion in which biting a bullet would be necessary is if someone had a gun to your head and said "bite this bullet" and gave you a bullet to bite. I think that biting the bullet, even if you chip a tooth, is better than getting shot in the head.
