    That's cool.

But if they really want to be thankful to all those that helped them, maybe they should thank the Russians too.

Thanks Russia, for only killing Russians during your purges.

Yes, I am aware of the battle of Berlin. Thanks for taking the punch, Russia.

By the way, Russia, thanks for selling Iraq all of your tanks and GPS jamming equipment. If they had bought from someone else, they may have purchased quality equipment!

BTW we should also thank the Finnish for slapping the Nazis a good one right in the face so early in the war.

Thanks US for sitting back and letting most of the western world fight the good fight while you sat on the fence. THANK YOU. That aside (I do have a monkey on my back about the previous) I thank the US for my lifestyle.

If russia-bashing was more common, I'm sure they would have. However, that's not the case. The scrutiny of the world is on the U.S.

Anyways, it's nice knowing not everyone overseas hates us.

Personally, I feel GonePostal is very educated.

The U.S. seems to like to jump in at the last second when most of the war has been fought and then take a cop out (atom bombs).

Well The US leads the charge in Iraq , we are war mongers and looking for fights, we wait a bit as in WWII and we are "jump in at the last second when most of the war has been fought and then take a cop out " and not very helpful. (this could be argued seeing the war ended very soon after we dropped the bombs).

Bottom line it does not matter if or when the US gets involved those who hate the US will take issue with every move it makes.....

he only said thank the russians too because they lost 28million men fighting the germans, the allied forces lost under 100.00 after usa joined in. If it wasnt for the russian forces my Grandfather wouldnt have gotten out of auswitch, and my fathers father got out from another camp by the help of the americans.

So I thank both the russians and the americans!
A big thanks to all my friends in the USA, I am deeply grateful for your hospitality and kindness.

The U.S. shouldn't have even needed to get involved. The European nations let Hitler build up the nazis because they thought it could be contained and it wouldn't grow to what it was. It should have never escalated to what it was. And then you have countries like France that just let them march into Paris with a Nazi flag without even putting up a fight.

    Thank you...someone knows their history.

Sledge...yup, I straight up hate the U.S., ok? Is that what you want me to say? I do all that **** brah...I don't give a **** about it. What I was saying was that in the midst of a ****in' WORLD WAR, the U.S. jumped in last second and the propoganda machine makes it seem like they saved the world. Just because they're jumping into Iraq head first doesn't mean it's just. I understand though. Saddam gasses some people and he's the most evil guy on earth. 800,000 people are massacred in Rwanda and the U.S. chills and does nothing *thumbs up dude!* USA ALL THE WAY! I have nothing against the U.S. ... I just despise and abhor the government that runs it.
    Peace Be With You.

One must not confuse politics with charity. of course they dont give no poo****ty about who gets killed in Rwanda. those people are hungry some even oedemic. They dont have big oil fields either (if they do and im mistaken, likely theyre already being run by western corporations, like in Sudan, the poorest country in the world where people are now eating the leaves off the trees.)

i can see that. I however cant see how some people still think the USA is in Iraq because they feel sorry for them because theyre regime isn`t nice

TommyLee I think you should learn something b4 you post again. If you think I am wrong prove me so, but answer me this.
    1. Why did the US sit for like 3 years on the sideline watching the world fight a war while they only gave aid inform of $$$?? Where was the US during the Battle of Britian?
    2. Why did the US get involved with the war? The answer will not be related to the fact they wanted to combat the evil that was the Nazis.

Sledge: I agree there is a degree of hypocracy on both sides. But I do support this current action being undertaken in Iraq. That being said those bombs ended a totall different war. They were dropped on Japan, Hitler did not stop fighting because of those bombs.

This is just dripping with ignorance...if you can imagine what something drenched in liquid ignorance might look like.

Just because the U.S. may not jump into a war right away doesn't mean they're not somehow planning for or helping the side they want to win. The U.S. may have been wrong in their assumption that certain countries could fight their way out of a wet paper bag, but I'll say that's all they're guilty for with regards to involvement in the wars I believe you're referring to.

Kinda sounds like you've got a fencepost going up your ass. When you say "straight up hate the U.S.", that includes the citizens. Then you go on to say just the government.

    Which is it?

Or is there some objective in trying to boil every American's blood? No offense, but it seems that way from what I have read in this and previous posts.

funny that people hold that against us, for showing up 3 years late in ww2, yet americans dont hold anything against germany, italy or japan for the casualties they caused from being power monging whores. we get yelled at for trying to make the world a better place, trying to end communism and terrorism, and then we get yelled at when dont do anything about some random violent action in some other country. we only get into things that affect us. yeah that makes us selfish i guess, but its not like we have unlimited resources or military to play daddy for the entire ****ing world.
