Ok nuts, my housemate used my laptop and when I turned it on the next day I got a bunch of emails from mail delivery severs saying that my emials had been rejected because they contained a virus - and it was like everyone on my addy book. Its also disabled my anti virus program cos it just closes straight away!

Dammit all my works on this computer - how can I get rid of it, bearing in mind I can't open my virus program.

You need to put anothe HELP if you want anyone to take you seriously.

No really, though you need anti-virus program a new one that comes with a diskett for your A: drive. put that in and turn on your lap top. You A; drive should a default booting device and it will pick up the virus program before you even start windows or your OS. It will come up in a black screen with white letter like DOS and you run the scan and it should locate the virus file and remove it (if possible).
This is what I know. Unless someone else has different way

I bought the disk: or you know someone who has one.

I guess never mind my suggestion. I thought that you were having problem startin up your OS or that it was unstable.

Ok I just tried to load a couple of virus programs from both cd and download and it just stops the installation. I also tried using my virus check to make a boot disk and it crashes.

Apparently its been going round our uni, dagnabbit. I'll give that online one a go...
