post workout. just a shake enough?

I usually have a protein shake post workout . Then 30min to 45 later I will eat something like natty PB and banana sandwich. Is this good?

I would recommend going with some form of high GI carbs (dextrose/maltodextrin) postworkout along with an easily digestable protein like whey.

~50-60g of carbs along with ~25-30g of protein postworkout. A preworkout shake would also be beneficial, which IMO should contain 25-35g of carbs (dextrose/maltodextrin) and 10-15g of whey in a small amount of water.

Follow up the postworkout shake with a whole food meal about 2 hours later.
