    Howser 5 month progress pics

Well I decided I was going to try and get back in the gym just after christmas, after a 6 year hiatus, because after seeing myself on a photograph that a workmate took,I was a bit sickened by the tragic fatass that I had become.

My training over the past 5 months has been horrible, with loads of skipped sessions and very little sleep each night, not taking my protein after training etc etc,but the main thing is that im still plodding away.

Although I have lost fat,I have not been on any diet as such,I have cut out the family size trifles that I was consuming on a daily basis, but that is pretty much it,so It has been more of a strength and muscle building regime I guess.

Before pisc(and these are by no means pictures of me at my fattest,I did have some horrific pictures from the front which i probably deleted in disgust as i cant seem to find them now)

    I hit a high of 16 stone 4 lbs(approx 230lbs) at a height of under 5'9"

PS.this is under no means me trying to say I look good.More a way of me marking my progress so far,am still very fat,but i will never be one of the guys who is interested in seeing my abs to be honest. But im nowhere near where I want to be.

This was probably a good 20lbs under my heaviest weight

Probably close to my heaviest of 230lbs

This was taken after I had started training again, maybe a month or so into training,There were several taken at the same time from the front which were far far worse than this looks as I seem to carry all my weight around my tits and belly.

Progress so far pics(probably weighing just under 210lbs)

PS.Before anyone takes the piss, yes I do wear freaking gloves

    looking great man(G)!

p.s. - gloves are cool... unless you wear them when you're not training
My profile picture is about 5 years old, I'll get around to taking some progress pics eventually.

Damn bro'. That is amazing progress. You were not on any type of cutting diet? Do you owe your fatloss to simply buckling down your diet and training hard again?

Well from 230lb's to 210 came off pretty quickly and easily to be honest. When I say that i stopped eating family sized trifles,I was not joking,I literally was eating whole trifles and whole family sized cakes etc, especially late at night. So i cut that out,but other than that i am still eating the same ****ty fast food diet, curries etc, that I was before.I have started taking Whey protein after each session for the last couple of months.I also did a 4 week prohormone cycle which finished approx one month ago.

I know that the mentioning of the prohormone cycle will inevitably lead to some questions about it so I will say that It probably did help to a degree, but personally I dont believe to a large degree,I gained no weight whilst I was on it,I may have lost a little bodyfat ,but that may well have been down to the increased volume which I did whilst using the prohormone,If I would attribute anything to the prohormone it would be a slight increase in strength levels, and I felt like I had more endurance in the gym(for example i seemed to get a few extra reps sets etc on certain exercises)But I could not say for certain wether any of this was real or psychological,It is certainly no miracle substance, let's put it that way, atleast not for me.

    Nice improvement!

What kind of prohormone did you use? Also, are you doing any sort of post cycle recovery right now?

Prohormone was 1-TNT which consisted of 6 grams of 1-Test and 9 grams of 4AD(if you want info on it,just do a search for 1TNT)

    Post cycle I used 6-oxo

Most muscular shot looks great. Nice traps, chest and bi's.
"It is often said, mainly by the "no-contests", that although there is no positive evidence for the existence of God, nor is there evidence against his existence. So it is best to keep an open mind and be agnostic. At first sight that seems an unassailable position, at least in the weak sense of Pascal's wager. But on second thought it seems a cop-out, because the same could be said of Father Christmas and tooth fairies. There may be fairies at the bottom of the garden. There is no evidence for it, but you can't prove that there aren't any, so shouldn't we be agnostic with respect to fairies?"

    Richard Dawkins

"Out of all of the sects in the world, we notice an uncanny coincidence: the overwhelming majority just happen to choose the one that their parents belong to. Not the sect that has the best evidence in its favour, the best miracles, the best moral code, the best cathedral, the best stained glass, the best music: when it comes to choosing from the smorgasbord of available religions, their potential virtues seem to count for nothing, compared to the matter of heredity. This is an unmistakable fact; nobody could seriously deny it. Yet people with full knowledge of the arbitrary nature of this heredity, somehow manage to go on believing in their religion, often with such fanaticism that they are prepared to murder people who follow a different one."

You sir have made some great progress. I also have some nasty ass bitch tits and gut and refuse to let anyone see them so I understand what you mean. I am currently at 218 and hope to go down to 185 by October. Anyway, I think your pictures speak for themselves. You are on your way man. I hope that I will also have the balls to post my before and after pictures when I reach my goals. Great arms dude.

By the way, I am also 5'9. I am 27 years old though.

if you've made that kind of difference with minimal diet control, get a REAL grip on your diet and you'll be looking ripped by the end of the summer!

    good work though!
