He has shown to be extremely conservative with exception of his radically socialistic proposition that was passed last year, that the legislative analysis basically deemed would set aide money indefinetly for a program without regard to its success. He's running on the Republican ticket, he's got my vote.

I will vote for Arnold. Unless you live in California you cannot understand the crap we have had to deal with Grey Davis. I believe that Arnold will be a good Gov.

Arnold is a moderate Republican supporting pro choice and gay rights. Many conservative republicans will not support him. It should be interesting once they thin out the heard of people who intend to run.Originally posted by JD77

i just moved to Hawaii from California, but if i were still there id vote for him.
Who gives a **** what platform he is running on, since when has any politician ever kept their word on anything theyve campaigned on?
It boils down to this:
1. Arnold is loaded = no lobbyists getting whatever they can bribe the govt for. No hidden agendas.
2. We know he is dedicated. Everybody knows what kind of person it takes to BB. They are organized, goal oriented and self motivated. Which is more than i can say for most politicians.
3. You cant get much worse than Governor Davis, whoever comes next is sure to be a tradeup

What people don't want to realize is that California's people are to blame for this mess. WE have to take the responsibility for this mess of a state. Why? Because we, as a state, were stupid enough to reelect him after overwhelming evidence and support that he was crooked and doing a terrile job. This recall is not going to save California. We are still going to see an even greater deficit next year, and nobody has the answer for that. Not Davis, not Arnold, nobody.

Gyno, I have been around here long enough to remember what you said about voters who does not know anything about who they are voting for, as long as it is a familiar name, they are morons and should not be allowed to vote, and you are god damned right, Ive said that to people many times after I read what you wrote and I have been laughed at everytime...grrrr
Arnolds big cases are youth and activites, he started several projects in the late 70s to give children more to do, after school, and he was one hell of a fund raiser to those projects, and that is the main reason he is popular with the old rich white men.A big thanks to all my friends in the USA, I am deeply grateful for your hospitality and kindness.
