Would one beer before bed do any damage to protein synthesis??

I know protein and Alcohol don't mix.... but would 1-2 beers be enough to screw up protein intake the next day?

Beer is alright, I suppose if taken into MODERATION. However, please don't be like me and going on a binge on the weekends.

To drink 15 beers in a few hours is my typical Friday and/or Saturday night. tuttut tuttut

I have learned a lot about beer and lifting from making a bunch of threads but I have never been told if just 1 or 2 would have the same effect on the protein synthesis.

People assume I'm talking about 10 or more beers. When I go out to drink I realize I am cheating. But calorie wise, having a couple beers before bed could be done and still have the daily intakes I need.

But if it effects protein synthesis for 24 hours like benge drinking does than I will only drink on cheat days.

2 beers won't affect synthesis that much.

It's not "optimal" but it's not that detrimental that it would matter, imo.
