    Sick. Motivate me.

Guys, I'm sick as a dog. Violent diarrhea, bad bad. I've eaten a good amount today anyway, which is nice considering I've had trouble eating the last couple of days. I'm feeling lethargic and dehydrated.

    Now the bad news.

It's leg day. Last leg day was crap, and I was so disappointed. I'd really rather not take the day off.

Any suggestions? Motivation? Something I can take to kill the gutwrenching pain for an hour so I can squat?

Best to just get healthy first and pick up where you left off, sorry to say.

Just drink a quarter bottle of pepto and 2 gals of water. In 30 minutes you will be able to do all your leg workouts. If you still have the diarrhea problem, just say to yourself "what if this diarrhea **** never went away? I would have to learn to be able to cope with it during my workouts or something" lol and just lift till ya ****. Good luck bro.

SquareHead, I love you man. Thanks.

I know where I'll be in an hour. Under the bar, where I belong. (I'll bring an extra pair of shorts, just in case )

Just take it easy dude. It's not going to get better if you don't. Rest up, and hit it back up once you're better.

lifting on poor diet and diarrhea is just gonna be counterproductive, man...

if you were just feeling crappy with the flu or a cold, that's one thing. But the trots plus dehydration?

Just delay leg day till you can have a solid BM.

Pretty much lifting anytime while sick can be quite detrimental. Now if its just a lack of motivation then that's a different story but being sick isn't something that you normally try to train around.

Why tax your immune system when it's already being taxed fighting off whatever stomach infection you have. Rest up...heal...and get back to it, but lifting when you're dehydrated and your body is using what little resources it has for something else is not only dangerous, but stupid.

Well, I went at it anyway. And actually felt really good during and after squats. I shortened my workout quite a bit though. (Check the journal.)

And thanks guys. I hope to feel better tomorrow. Nothing like being sick on your birthday
