Do you think about bodybuilding for most of your day? I find myself thinking about my exercise plans, weight and meals I will be eating for the entire day. Sometimes I even think way too much in the future. For example, I carbo load on Friday evening and all day Saturday and find myself thinking of what foods I will eat all week long. Right now I keep waiting for my day to be over here at work so I can do my cardio and bench routine. I keep making mental notes on how I will complete my exercises and whether I will be ready to top my 1 rep max from last week. Then I am thinking about how I will workout tomorrow on my back.
Do you guys feel the same way?
I thought the question would be sex. And I never cease to stop thinking about it.
Weightlifting? meh ya I think about it a few times a day.

So you don't wanna get big, do you?

"If you want to look like Brad Pitt go run a marathon or something." - Severed Ties
Yes sir.......I do that sometimes and don't even make it to the workout or the meal.........You sound very dedicated almost obsessed.....However in this type of lifestyle maybe even "normal"
Have you ever thought about being a personal trainer? This sounds like a profession that would be perfect for you.......
I think about it at all times. Whatever action I am doing I relate it to bodybuilding and whether or not I am living the "lifestyle". It's programmed, I cannot help it anymore. This doesn't mean I do not deviate from the lifestyle but I make my attempts to adhere to it occasionally.
Sex? Yeah, I think any guy with a sex drive will agree that never really leaves your thoughts...

Credulous at best
Your desire to believe in
Angels in the hearts of men.
But pull your head on out of your hippie haze
And give a listen
Shouldn't have to say it all again
I'm constantly thinking about body building. It's hard not to if you're meal conscious.
And I think about sex once every 73 seconds. If I'm playing guitar it's once every 3 seconds.
Best way to cheat on deadlifts...
Stand there for a few minutes, then pace back and forth a lot, huff and puff, wait until everybody's looking. Approach the bar. Back off. Approach it again. Back off. Get some water. Chalk up. Approach the bar again. Then spray some more chalk around. Wait until people start losing interest. When nobody's looking, pick it a little off the floor, and slam it down. Jump up and yell "LIGHT WEIGHT BABY". Then give high fives all around. - Belial
I think about it all the time during the day because I'm tracking my calories to be precise on my slow bulk.

Not really that much. It's all become second nature to me. I may not neccessarily *think* about it, but my actions sure do relate to bodybuilding.
"It is often said, mainly by the "no-contests", that although there is no positive evidence for the existence of God, nor is there evidence against his existence. So it is best to keep an open mind and be agnostic. At first sight that seems an unassailable position, at least in the weak sense of Pascal's wager. But on second thought it seems a cop-out, because the same could be said of Father Christmas and tooth fairies. There may be fairies at the bottom of the garden. There is no evidence for it, but you can't prove that there aren't any, so shouldn't we be agnostic with respect to fairies?"

"Out of all of the sects in the world, we notice an uncanny coincidence: the overwhelming majority just happen to choose the one that their parents belong to. Not the sect that has the best evidence in its favour, the best miracles, the best moral code, the best cathedral, the best stained glass, the best music: when it comes to choosing from the smorgasbord of available religions, their potential virtues seem to count for nothing, compared to the matter of heredity. This is an unmistakable fact; nobody could seriously deny it. Yet people with full knowledge of the arbitrary nature of this heredity, somehow manage to go on believing in their religion, often with such fanaticism that they are prepared to murder people who follow a different one."

Just got back from the gym. I had a crappy workout, but the way I figure it, I am still one day closer to my goals.
A LOT. I always like to think about my max effort days especially. Sometimes I wish the day would just end so I could get to the next training session. I would love to be a professional athlete, so I could do this all the time.
OH, and it helps me get to sleep if I think about deadlifting heavy, so I do that a lot around bed time.
Every time I see myself in a window or mirror. Every time I eat. Every time I look down at my arms/legs. Etc.
heheh, yeah me too. When I am in the john I look down at my calves.
Well...I was kidding, sort of. Most music out there has some relation to drugs or sex. So when you're playing music, it kind of comes up.Originally posted by mikey4402

Not that much. I think lifting when I'm in the gym, or if I got a workout coming up that I'm stoked about. Sometimes comes to mind when I'm in front of a mirror, but that's usually right before or after a shower, not when I'm just walking around.
Sex? Constantly.

Are you in denial?
Or do you just come for the club atmosphere? Nothing wrong with that........
No. I'm not a bodybuilder.
And really, you should realize by now, the best part of this board is its time-wasting function.

Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.
Just because I look better than most of the other bodybuilder wannabes doesn't mean I am one, homeskinny.
