Is It True?
On October 14th MSN messanger and hotmail will no longer be free? I think I read it in the newspaper awhile back, but I can't remember.

I know that used to be a hoax with AIM. I couldn't see MSN Messenger charging since AIM is free. (and I believe a lot more people use AIM) I have no idea on hotmail though.

Hotmail is a joke.....
If you don't sign on for about 2 - 3 weeks they will ask if you want to re-activate you're account and upgrade additional space, but it costs money.....
You can bypass that and just reactivate your regular account, but some people that aren't too smart may end up paying for the new account and the ones that can't afford usually just forget it or start a new account.....
Tricky bastards!

I haven't heard that, but it is true that MS is forcing an upgrade to their new protocol on the 15th.
