lcd screen in car????
has anyone put an lcd screen in there car? i got one for only 30 bucks so i though why not. i want to be able to play music videos in it. so ill probley buy a cheep dvd player.

I think you need some sort of processor (brains) to run an LCD monitor with VHS/DVD. If you really wanna know how, I would direct you to www.rockfordfosgate.com and go to their forum and ask a question there. You should get the answer you're looking for.
If you would of asked me in about 6 months I'd probably know since I'm getting a job at a stereo shop here pretty soon.

Dude if you get a head unit that plays DVD you just need a video RCA cable to go to the screen. Nothin else. Just power and if it's under 7" then it sould be 12V. If not it "should" come with a power inverter so that you can use the cars 12 system to power it.

That is if you use a seporate dvd player so you can recive sound on an fm radio station. If the head unit has dvd player in it you need video out to the screen and the audo will be coming out of the head unit so you will need no modulator.

I'm gonna have to agree with Reloaded, and say you definately need a PS2 or an Xbox, either one works but personally I would go with the latter
