I seem to get the most compliments on my chest. Even though its not well defined, with a shirt on it stands out quite a bit and people notice it. I also agree that back, both traps and lats, are vital for that "huge" look.

    Steak is always key.

My protruding ribs, hanging shoulders, and skinny neck all give away the fact that.. Yes, I am a total badass.

I'd have to go with a wide back, big traps and delts, and quads.

You can have a big waist (as I do) and not have it really be noticed because of the size of your legs and width of your shoulders.

I'm with Budiak , I have big traps, big shoulders and a chubby waist you can't see .
Give me your broken , give me your beaten ... I will build them up , I will lead them ... to the threshhold . Make you stronger , make you believe .

Definitely big lats and delts, plus a narrow waist. If you have huge traps, everything else better be big too, or you'll look ridiculous, and not in a good way.

EDIT: Can't believe I forgot this the first time around, but being cut is important, too. Even if you're very muscular, people won't consider you "buff" if you're 30% bodyfat.

I dont know bro I got big legs ,big traps and shoulders but a little bit of a gut and my buds that are cut pretty good always get mad because people ask me if I lift .

I am bigger but they are more cut , bottom line though , I get more chicks .

Yes and no... clothes can hide a lot; I know dudes that look pretty good in a shirt that are shockingly flab-u-lous when you see what's under the shirt

My take on the keys to looking buff?

    1) Be big.
    2) See #1.

True. I definitely look a lot better with a shirt on right now... I guess I always think of "buff" as being how you look without a shirt.
