What's this program you're referring to? I don't know how long it took, but a 25 pound increase doesn't sound bad when you're in that range.

I would expect to add 20-30 lbs to your bench, which is definately good for 2 months at your level. Some people might do better...

I've done it a few times and each time it varied. It can make you some really great gains though for 7 weeks time. I'd expect at least 20-30lbs from it- I think it would work wonders for a person that just started to train.

Does anyone have a link to this program? 20-30lbs sounds nice.

I did it about a year ago... No one I know has added 50 pounds from it, but most add 20-30, which isn't bad at all.

Post your results after, I'm interested to see what it will do for both of you.

notsoperfect, did you try maxing at the claimed 50lbs a few days after you finished the program? it had you doing 300 after doing a set of 3 at 265 and a set of 2 at 285, so i dont think that 300 accurately represents your 1rm.

I had great results from the program the first time I did it...

    I went from 230lbs to 275lbs...

however, diet is the one factor that most young bodybuilders gloss over...

I really had my diet spot on when I did that program...you've got to just pound the protein...

I should also add that I was using creatine for the first time so this must have been back in 1997...

the program was in the very first bodybuilding magazine I ever purchaced...

does anyone have a copy of the squat program that came out a couple months before?

now that Muscle Media 2000 has gone all prissy on us they don't cover the power lifts like the squat much anymore...
