I think if you ask "if you went out with somebody else" then it would sound like you had somebody in mind. Which might upset her. I would ask her if she would be more comfortable keeping things at a friendship level until she had more time to focus on something more.
Best way to cheat on deadlifts...
Stand there for a few minutes, then pace back and forth a lot, huff and puff, wait until everybody's looking. Approach the bar. Back off. Approach it again. Back off. Get some water. Chalk up. Approach the bar again. Then spray some more chalk around. Wait until people start losing interest. When nobody's looking, pick it a little off the floor, and slam it down. Just go out with somebody else and let her ****ing deal with it. She said she doesnt want to go out with you...what, she thinks you're going to wait around until SHE is ready? That shows a complete lack of respect for you as a person and a complete lack of respect for your emotional (and physical) needs.
I'm not saying that she does expect you to wait but in my very, very humble and bitter opinion, if a girl says that she doesnt want a relationship with you, it means you can go out with someone else, regardless of her role in your life.

I am lucky in a way, because I say everything that I feel or want to do straight out to the girls I meet, this makes it less problematic for me to deal with problems that might come up.

I wouldn't ask permission. If she stated she just wants to be friends then do your own thing. If your really serious about her I would hold off screwing anybody though for a little bit. She might get jealous and decide she wants more. But once you screw another chick you might have gone to far. Then again I usually don't turn down sex, and talk is cheap. So in reality I would probablty screw other girls and jsut lie. That way it would be like going out with her. JK.
