OK, I want to set up preferably a 5 level user title system...

Here is what it is currently...

Wannabebig New Member (Minimum Posts: 0)
    Wannabebig Member (Minimum Posts: 5)
    Senior Member (Minimum Posts: 100)

    OK, here are my ideas..

I was thinking of having the titles change at the following post measures :

    0
    10
    250
    1000
    2000 +

I think 0-10 should remain "Wannabebig New Member" but as for the other 4 I am after your ideas....

So what do you think ?

besides your expert advisors eg ms abs why not incorporate a title for for people who seem quite knowledgable who contribute regulary eg chris mason
such as juniour advisor or relaible source to help people distinguish between sound advice and not so accurate advice?
but do not promote them up to expert advisor as this will take away emphasis from the real experts.

It would be great if you could assign these titles based on quality of info and longevity of membership rather than an arbitrary number of posts....
I know this would take a lot of admin. and will never happen but it's just an idea......

    Body,
I agree with the "junior advisor" idea although the other title idea of "reliable source" may get some unwanted attention....
it's a long way to the top from here...

My thoughts...hell, I'm not really sure. Maybe you should just assign default ones to new members and give all the people who been here...(me, yates, Chris, sav, twiz, etc..) personal names like NBE had on TDS. My personal one was "Gearhead." Just a thought bro...

You can choose the default title or set your own currently...

I liked Yates' suggestions the best so far

I guess there's no point in putting dates in threads as people seem not to notice how old they are either...
