    Bony Shoulders

My shoulders are really bony, well only the top. A bone sticks up out of the top like I dislocated it before. I'm pretty skinny but I know there's a lot of people that are skinnier that have flat shoulders. If you can feel your collar bone, follow it across from the middle to your right arm, it leads right to where i'm talking about. My shoulders aren't small at all, they're actually kind of big for my size but I can't seem to get that bone to go away. Is there any thing I can do to make it less noticable? I've been doing military and arnold presses, but they don't seem to make it any better.

does it kinda make you look like the batman symbol? (if it were bigger of course!) i have the same problem....they stick out like little batwings....its not HUGE but it really makes you wanna wear more loose shirts.... i think alot of the neck shoulder tie-in exercises will get rid of it....probably just lack of muscle there, combined with genetics....

Shoulder shrugs to build the traps will make it less evident. Behind neck military also. Use less weight till you become used to the behind neck method. It can be rough on the shoulder joints if you use too much weight.

Make sure your posture is relatively good (http://www.exrx.net/ExInfo/Posture.html for more information) and as mailman21108 said, building up your trap muscles may help mask the boney area. I would suggest just ignoring it for the time being, and just keep adding mass to your frame. In general, the more muscle you have, the less your bones will show / be felt.

On a side note, mailman21108: the link in your signature returns a not found page.

You just have to focus on gaining mass all around and probably start doing DL's and Shrugs. I used to have the same problem but I solved it by gaining 20lbs and eventually it covered it with good mass, but I still have some more to gain. Good luck.
