Was looking at a couple of Bodybuilding mags. at the store and was wondering which ones are good to read through. Never bought one and was looking for some advice on which ones to stay away from.
Glad Im weak because I never have to worry in the gym because my 5 pound plates are always there.!!!!
IMO all BB'ing mags are crap.
Monster Muscle is a good PL'ing mag though.

I have a to agree some with Patty but I started off with Muscle & Fitness. I think for any beginner it's an ok place to start. They mean well, you just have to take the info there with a grain of salt.

Men's Health is a good magazine if you're in your 30's / 40's and are trying to get rid of your pot belly. That's about it.

i dunno about BB mags...but stuff, fhm, maxim are always good reads...
High achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.
I read Men's Health and sometimes Men's Fitness more so for the other articles than the workouts. Especially Men's Health. Sometimes I pick up Muscular Development for the science section, or Muscle Media or though it's not as good as it used to be. I'm always seeing what accurate and inaccurate stuff they are feeding people. But you definitely have to take any advice on supplements (and often the workouts) with a grain of salt in any magazine about fitness. I don't think they are perfect but they are actually getting a little better. In last month's issue of Men's Fitness there was actually an article and Westside style workout by Dave Tate.

Yup. They even had an article on how to use chains to increase your bench.
Then again, they had an article claiming to "Increase Your Arm Size by 1 inch TODAY!"
Some good, some stupid.
