I am 6'1 170lb with a body fat of 8%. I eat very well but sometimes I will have some ice cream and stuff. I heard that the best way to get defined abs is to totally change your eating habits. Well I am doing that and need some pointers. Any information would help me a lot.

At 8% I would think your abs would be somewhat visible. Although genetics play a part as well.
I think if your body fat got down to 6% you'd definitely have some good abs at that point.
Are you sure the 8% is accurate?

They are some what visible like you said but I would like them to stick out all the time without the need to flex. Last time I checked my body fat % was about two months ago at a local gym. What is a good way to check it again? Plus any diet ideas you could help me out with?

No I don't but I eat at least 2 times a day.

I'd have to agree. 8% is already pretty damn lean. I'd imagine you're higher than you think. In any event, diet.

you should be eating more than twice a day... i heard that youre actually supposed to eat 5 to 6 small meals if possible to keep speeding your metabolism up......but you should at least eat 3 times a day, and never eat till your full just get enough to get by.

J/k. Seriously though, only VERY lean cuts of meat, turkey, tuna, veggies, that isht.
Assuming they're sufficiently built they should be fairly visible given your current BF.

Most people WAAAAAAAY underestimate their bodyfat. Its usually much higher than they think it is. At 8%, you're going to have a great sixpack, even relaxed. 8% bodyfat is much leaner than most people would think.
