just got back from a browse in the grocery store

picked up Dairy Oh Milk from Neilson

the cows are fed DHA to the extent that the milk contains 100mg per cup

(thats enough for a developing newborn daily)

although DHA is not techinically an EFA it is by far the most important fatty acid to consume

and getting it from milk you allready drink (and pay for) is better that fish oil

especially since it dosen't contain EPA which can compete with DHA for receptor sites

this is truly an awesome advancement now if we can just feed our meat better stuff

imagine getting EFA's from meat like nature intended

good things happening for the world's food supply
