    guitar question

i broke the tuning peg on my guitar. i thought it would be easy to replace, but apparently no. Its a Gibson Epihone Les Paul, so the parts come from mexico. anyone know where i can order parts for it. It's been faithful since 1989, and always stays in tune, I dont want to let it down. thanks!

You can put Gibson tunning pegs in it for sure, and those are manufactered in the US.

you'd probably have to buy a whole new set of tuners, cuz they don't exactly sell individual tuners.

maybe buy some sperzel or schaller locking tuners for like 60 bucks and replace and upgrade at the same time.

I'd agree with Jotosuds, although it's a replica they have 2 cut corners to sell em for suck low prices compared to the originals, that'll b why it wont work with the Gibson tuner's. Go to www.musiciansfriend.com. They should b able to sort u out, if what u want aint on the site, drop em an e-mail, they usually sort me out!

My Gibson dealer had no problem whatsoever replacing one tuner peg on my Gibson Les Paul. It cost me $15 to replace it, get new strings, and have it tuned up.
